How do I get a ride from Senior Transport?
Please contact Senior Transport at (217) 528-4035, ext. 128.
Provide your name, address, and telephone number.
Provide the date and time of the appointment you are needing transport for.
Provide the address of the location you need transport to and/or from.
Let us know of any accommodations you will need.
If the scheduler is assisting another client, the call will go to voicemail. Calls are recorded and returned in the order in which they are received. If you do not receive a return call within 24 hours, please call a second time.

Pick-Ups:
Generally pickups are scheduled 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Drivers will arrive to pick you up at the designated time. Due to unpredictable weather, travel time, and traffic, drivers may be 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late.

Riders must be able to access the vans on their own, or with little assistance. If you require assistance (carry a bag, a hand to steady you, etc.), you must have made accommodations at the time you scheduled your pick-up. Drivers can come to the door to provide assistance, but may not cross the threshold.

Return Pick-Ups:
When you are finished with your appointment, you will call Senior Services of Central Illinois at (217) 528-4035. If you receive the voicemail, you must hang up and call back until you are able to speak with a person.

When you speak to the receptionist:
Provide your name and the address you are currently at.
Any additional information the driver will need in order to make contact with you.
Ask for an estimate of how long you will need to wait for a driver.
Be sure to keep an eye out for your Senior Transport Driver!
